Hello, and Welcome to my blog.
I often asked if I photographed maternity sessions, the answer is I do! So, I thought it was an excellent opportunity to discuss this on my blog and newsletter. After my clients’ wedding, they reach me with the news of a pregnancy, and of course, I am as happy as they are.
Some of my most frequent questions.
When should you book your maternity session appointment?
It always is an excellent question—my preference for about 6-7 months. Please, please don’t wait until the end of your pregnancy to be photographed. It will feel uncomfortable to you, and outfits don’t often fit as naturally. You know the changes in your body better than anyone else have that in consideration. Hair and Make-up are optional but highly recommended.
Should I take photos of my maternity session outdoors or indoors?
It depends on your preference. Choose a different location now that you’re familiar with where your engagement session took place. Honestly, most of the maternity sessions want to do it indoors, so we got everything we need for you. While your hair and mak-up are completed we will set up our set in the comfort of your home.
Can we be creative and explore?
YES!! Instead of just doing something casual, let’s do something grand. You will be becoming a mother, and celebrate. The session will be incredible for you.
How soon should I book my Maternity Session appointment?
Booked your appointments for your maternity session one month in advance since we need to coordinate dates and locations is always best not to do it in a hurry.
Should I be just me?
No, this is a colossal opportunity to have you both in front of my camera again, seeing a different side of you as a family together again. I highly recommend dressing up, and maybe at the end of the session, you and your husband will go out for a romantic dinner afterward.
It’s a happy milestone for you and your husband, the beginning of a new era in your life, a real moment that will be fantastic to be captured for you again. That alone is worth a celebration!~
