Destination Wedding for all.
When clients make a cross-country trip for their Destination Wedding, I know I’m in for a real treat. And Ageh and Chriss did not disappoint!
Making the trek from New York to Los Angeles for their destination wedding, Ageh and Chriss brought with them a guest list hailing predominantly from Chicago and New York City. For everyone, myself included, this was a true Los Angeles affair to remember. Inspired by her love of warm weather, Ageh believed Los Angeles would be the perfect place for her and Chriss to say ‘I do’. Chriss agreed, and eventually, the Bel-Air Bay Club was selected for their reception.
My clients, along with her nearest and dearest, prepared for her wedding at the Loews Hotel, located in Santa Monica overlooking the majestic Pacific Ocean. The couple had a beautiful Catholic ceremony at St. Monica’s where they were married by a very special priest– Chris’ uncle!
About the Venue
Following the ceremony the newlywed couple and their guests headed to the Bel-Air Bay Club for the reception. Upon arriving, the guests were fascinated with the venue’s magnificent view. Being a Los Angeleno, I sometimes forget how amazing our city is so it’s always refreshing to see it through a visitor’s eyes. The guests were able to tear themselves away from the view, however, to enjoy a grand reception.
The live band rocked it out all evening and the groom and his longtime friends even got to sing a few numbers! After dancing all day and well into the night, the In-N-Out truck arrived to feed the hungry guests. Of course, this stellar touch received rave reviews as our famed In-N-Out Burger is not available back east.
Ageh and Chriss were a pleasure to work with and, judging by their lovely ceremony, lively reception and the fun-loving people who surrounded them, I am confident that this destination event was the wedding of their dreams. husband and wife return to New York a happily married couple, and as their guests return to their respective homes, I hope they all were able to capture happy memories and a little piece of Los Angeles with them.
