Newport Beach is a great location for weddings! The wedding of Jamie and Darren was a complete hit. Jamie hired me to be her wedding photographer, last year, when she and Darren were in the middle of getting a house and during the remodeling of their kitchen. Tons of little things to be taking care of and Jamie did an incredible job. Everything was so organized and put together at her wedding. We arrived at the hotel the day of their wedding and the weather was NICE; no rain in the forecast. Having a wedding in November, Jamie and Darren wanted to see each other before the ceremony. Since it gets dark early, it was important to her to capture as many images as we could before departing to the ceremony location at Destiny Yachts in Newport Beach. We had lots of fun. Jamie and Darren are a joy to work with and so were her entire group of bridesmaids and parents. Love everyone!
The ceremony and the party after the ceremony, took place on a Yacht Destiny. The DJ rocked the house and every single person was dancing and having a great time. I loved Darren’s mother’s touch. She got Leis flown in from Oahu. That was a part of her heritage that she wanted to make sure was included in the wedding. I love family traditions!! Darren had an incredible time in the company of all of the members of the firefighter’s that he works with and all of his friends from high school. Great guys!! Crazy and fun!!
