Orcutt Ranch Wedding Photography | California, Los Angeles, Worldwide

Emily and Josh wanted a wedding that was nice and relaxing to enjoy with their family and closest friends and she got it ๐Ÿ™‚
As I arrived at the Orcutt Ranch, here in West Hills, I saw a large group of people working on wedding details, what a fantastic group of friends Josh and Emily has. As I arrive, I say hello to my bride, she looked happy, content and she was glowing with joy. Josh, our groom, also look amazing, he was busy doing some last minute details for the wedding. Everyone worked hard to make sure that Emily would have the wedding of her dreams. This is something that she share to me, that I would like to share with you as well..

“My wedding dress: I got my dress at Lilli Bridals and Formals (it is special because it is also where Josh’s mom got her wedding dress when she got married more then 30 years ago. The veil: We got my veil about 25 years ago in Belgium. I used the veil for my First Communion, but it is long enough to also use for my wedding. Hair clip: I bought it from an antique shop. It is from the 1920’s. (it is my something old) ๐Ÿ™‚ The ring: My wedding and engagement rings are from Excalibur, which is the same place my brothers bought their engagement and wedding rings for their wives. So, it is a very special place for my family. Both of my rings are from the 1920’s. “Something borrowed”: My mom’s ring, which my dad gave to her. We had fun making a lot of our wedding decorations. Our cake topper is something we made together. We also made our wedding signs, flower box, chalkboard for day schedule. Window, for escort cards, were handmade by us plus we used recycled wood. It was a lot of fun doing it!! Table setting thank you cards: We placed, at each place setting, a cork holding a small thank you card. We wanted to thank our guests because each one played a special role in our lives and in helping with our special day. The corks are special because each one represents a bottle of wine we shared with our family and friends.”

Emily and Josh put a lot of “love” into everything they made for their wedding. It was also a very special event for me since four couples that I had photographed, and will photograph next month, were here at this event. It was INCREDIBLE seeing them all together. Rian and Joe, Jennifer and Saul, Emily and Josh and Allison and Steve … What a blessing indeed, It felt wonderful to have then all in front of me ๐Ÿ™‚

Some of my favorite of the day
