Cartagena Colombia

>

I wanted to share some of the things that I did while in South America. The city selected by many brides, as their destination wedding, is Cartagena de Indias, Colombia; Why Cartagena? It’s a beautiful place full of history and color. I love the beautiful backgrounds and old streets and the houses are to die for. We spent four days there and had a blast!.

I was able to arrange a bridal session in Cartagena. Thank you Alejandra for looking so gorgeous and for helping me with this incredible dream of mine.

A bit of info about Cartagena thanks to my loyal Wikipedia…
Cartagena de Indias was founded on June 1, 1533 by Spanish commander Pedro de Heredia, in the former location of the indigenous Caribbean Calamarí village. The town was named after Cartagena, Spain, from which most of Heredia’s sailors came.
Initially, life in the city was bucolic with fewer than 2000 inhabitants and only one church. A few months after the disaster of the invasion of Cote, a fire destroyed the city and forced the creation of a firefighting squad, the first in the Americas.
