Engagement sessions with dogs.
Lauren and Alex are adorable together. I met Lauren two years ago! She wanted to hire her wedding photographer soon, so she and her adorable mom met me at my location. We talked and they signed the contract right then and there.
Lauren and Alex, I am so excited to be a part of your wedding day. I know that your wedding day will be filled with close friends and with the company of your family. The day will be amazing. I am so happy I got to meet Alex, since he was not part of our original meeting back then. He is adorable and sweet!
Alex and Lauren live in Virginia but they spent Christmas at her mom’s house. So during the visit with her mom, we met to do the engagement session. Lauren wanted to go somewhere locally so we all decided to visit the Ronald Reagan library and we did!! The day was beautiful, not that cold at all. It was a nice break for them from that winter weather back home in Virginia. Lauren asked me if she could bring her little doggie. I replied immediately, of course! She knows that I LOVE DOGS in my sessions.. 😉 She shared a bit of information with me about how she got her furry baby:
“We got Luna from our favorite dog rescue organization, a group called HALO. She was rescued from a puppy mill last summer. We drove from Washington, DC to pick her up from her foster home in Indiana. She was very shy, at first, but continues to get more outgoing by the day. She loved visiting sunny California with us, especially because she is not a fan of snow!”
