Before Hadley’s Bat Mitzvah celebration, her family gathered for a colorful pre-party filled with joyful details, delicious food, and meaningful time together. The fiesta-inspired event created the perfect beginning to an unforgettable Bat Mitzvah weekend in Encino.
A Vibrant Fiesta-Inspired Celebration
From the moment guests arrived, the setting felt playful and welcoming. A bright “Welcome to Hadley’s Fiesta” sign introduced the celebration, surrounded by balloons in shades of pink, turquoise, orange, green, and yellow.
A large balloon wall featuring Hadley’s name became the perfect backdrop for family portraits and photographs with friends. Colorful tables, papel picado banners, miniature piñatas, candles, and bold floral arrangements carried the theme throughout the space.
The florals added a beautiful touch of elegance to the festive décor. Pink roses, yellow ranunculus, orange marigolds, and greenery created arrangements that felt joyful, fresh, and full of personality.
Candid Family Photography Before the Bat Mitzvah

A pre–Bat Mitzvah party gives families an opportunity to relax and spend time together before the larger celebration begins. For Hadley’s family, it also created space for natural portraits with her parents, siblings, and loved ones.
Along with the traditional family photographs, I focused on the playful moments that told the complete story: children laughing together, Hadley enjoying a colorful paleta, family hugs, and guests taking in every thoughtful detail.
Planning a Bat Mitzvah?

Whether you are planning an intimate pre-party or a full Bat Mitzvah weekend, photography should preserve more than the decorations. It should capture the people, connections, and energy that made the celebration meaningful.
I work closely with families and event planners to create natural, vibrant, and refined Bat Mitzvah photography while making sure important family members and carefully planned details are beautifully documented.
