Santa Barbara Engagement Ideas.
Santa Barbara is a great location for a fun engagement session. Ramiro and Amy wanted to be photographed outdoors, so the Botanical Garden, in Santa Barbara, was the perfect location to meet.
We started at the incredible Santa Barbara Mission, then we moved to the Botanical Garden. We indeed had a blast. For Amy and Ramiro, this was their very first professional session and I couldn’t be more honored to be their photographer. I am so excited and looking forward to their wedding day. The ceremony is going to be held at the San Fernando Mission, a location where I love to shoot. I know that day is going to be full of fun moments, tons of fun and lots of dancing, as well.
A bit information about the Botanical Gardens: With sweeping views to the Santa Ynez Mountains and the Santa Barbara Channel Islands and stunning landscapes, the Santa Barbara Botanic Garden is a great place to explore California’s native plant diversity. The Garden’s 78 acres encompass a variety of cultivated displays as well as stands of natural coast live oak and riparian woodlands. The Garden completed a Cultural Landscape Master Plan in 2012 to help us understand and preserve the significant elements that combined create the character of the landscape. The years between 1926 and 1950 are defined as the Period of Significance.
