Being in Ventura County, photographing a wedding, is absolutely fun! The wedding of Christine and Miguel was hosted at her mom’s residence in Camarillo. The house was stunning, lots of open spaces and full of flowers, everywhere. As I arrived to the house, where the reception took place, the girls were having fun sipping Mimosas and getting ready for the amazing wedding day.
The ceremony took place in Oxnard at the Santa Clara Catholic Church; a beautiful place! Miguel told me that he fell in love with this church when he was a child growing up in Oxnard and that he knew that one day, that would be the church where he would marry the lady of his dreams; Christine!!
When the religious ceremony was concluded, we drove to Santa Barbara, because we had a huge gap between the ceremony and the reception. The grounds of the Courthouse was the perfect finishing touch for Christine and Miguel. They looked amazing and so beautiful. We had fun photographing them in Santa Barbara and as we returned to the house in Camarillo, we included the rest of the family and bridal party photos. The party was a complete success!!
Some of my favorites of the day.
